They were all partly funded by so-called “climate finance” — pools of money from developed countries earmarked for climate change solutions across the world. A new investigation from Reuters found billions of dollars labeled as climate finance going to projects that only had a tangential relationship to climate solutions. To discuss the problem of climate finance transparency, The World’s Carol Hills speaks to Emma Rumney, a data reporter with Reuters in London.
