Global religious freedom takes a hit

Covid-19 has contributed to a steady decline in religious freedom, according to a just-released annual report by an independent commission on religious freedom. That’s despite the US’s long-standing focus on the issue, and a controversial, increased emphasis on religious liberty by the Trump administration.
