Edinburg Seven finally get their degrees

This past week, the University of Edinburgh conferred medical degrees on seven women who enrolled about 150 years ago, but were never allowed to graduate. Their posthumous degrees were accepted by current female medical students. The World’s Sarah Birnbaum tells the story.
