Challenges to reform with militarization of police

Law enforcement agencies in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and across the US, are drawing down after a massive buildup. They planned for this week to go very differently in anticipation of the verdict in the Derek Chauvin trial. Advocates say that militarized response itself shows that the US cannot solve its police brutality problems on its own. They say this country needs international oversight.
