Erika Lee is the Rudolph J. Vecoli Chair in Immigration History, the Director of the Immigration History Research Center, and Distinguished McKnight University Professor at the University of Minnesota. She is the author of three award-winning books on immigration and Asian American history, including, most recently, The Making of Asian America: A History (Simon & Schuster, 2015, 2016).
