EU leaders try to present united response to Israel-Hamas war

EU leaders met for a virtual summit on Tuesday to try and decide on a united message on the Israel-Hamas war. There have been a series of contradictory messages from Europe’s leaders and diplomats since the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7. Speaking ahead of the meeting, EU Council President Charles Michel said the Israel-Gaza conflict could feed extremism in Europe. The World’s Europe correspondent Orla Barry reports.
