Bahrain prisoners on hunger strike

The island nation of Bahrain is witnessing the largest hunger strike among prisoners in its history, according to activists. Activists estimate more than 800 political prisoners are participating in the strike but the government says it’s much lower. The World’s Carolyn Beeler speaks to Maryam al-Khawaja, a Bahraini human rights activist, about the situation in Bahrain’s prisons and what the prisoners hope to achieve.
