Host Marco Werman speaks with songwriter, vocalist and member of the Tedeschi Trucks Band Mike Mattison. He speaks with Werman about Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi who wrote “Layla & Majnun,” the influential epic romance poem that none other than Lord Byron called the “‘Romeo and Juliet’ of the East.” It's one part of the band's new four-part album “I Am The Moon” — being released in four successive chapters over the summer.
