Lack of domestic policy cuts into US credibility leading up to global climate conference

We are now mere days away from the global climate change conference set to happen in Glasgow this year. President Joe Biden was hoping to attend this conference with a domestic climate bill under his belt but opposition from Sen. Joe Manchin from West Virginia has likely squandered that goal, leaving little hope of a quick vote before Biden leaves for Glasgow this week. To discuss how this lack of a plan will play at the conference, The World’s Marco Werman is joined by Chris Venables, who is head of politics for UK think-tank Green Alliance.
