Jailed Saudi women’s rights activists subjected to psychological, physical abuse

Earlier this year, Saudi officials began detaining women’s rights activists and prominent feminists in the country over accusations of illegal contact with foreign governments. The Washington Post reports that for months now those activists have been subjected to psychological and physical abuse. The World’s Carol Hills interviews Washington Post reporter Kareem Fahim.
