Fighting in Ukraine is taking a toll on the country’s health system. Shortages of medical supplies are reported, and an air strike on a maternity hospital in the port city of Mariupol on Wednesday highlighted the danger to health facilities. And former US Marine Trevor Reed has been in detention in Russia since 2019 on charges of police assault.
