New SAT, Same Old Anxiety

The Takeaway

The College Board recently revised the SAT in hopes of making it more straightforward and aligned with high school curriculum. But student anxiety about the exam remains the same.

The Takeaway visited West Brooklyn Community High School to hear how students feel about the new format and how crucial the SAT is for them realizing their dreams.

We met Weronika Jurski, a senior and Alyssa Bartnick a junior. Both young women will be first generation college students.
