13 shot outside Ariz. rap concert (VIDEO)

Two remain in serious condition after gunfire wounded 13 people at a rap concert in Tempe, Ariz., late Friday.

Before Nipsey Hussle took the stage, witnesses said two men in dark clothing opened fire outside The Clubhhouse about 11:30 p.m. local time.

“You see everybody running, couple more shots, everybody running. It was pure chaos,” witness Paul Butler told KTVK TV in Arizona.

The shooting happened in the crowded parking lot as hundreds waited in line, KTVK said. The venue is just south of Arizona State University.

Tempe Police spokesman Sgt. Steve Carbajal told Reuters that police are looking for two suspects seen running from the scene.

“Witnesses have reported that after the shooting, two black males wearing dark colored clothing fled the scene on foot,” Carbajal said, according to Reuters. “Those individuals have not been located at this time.”

Representatives neither from The Clubhouse nor from Nipsey Hussle have commented on the shooting, The Associated Press said, although the artist tweeted after the shooting: “Az….y'all gotta be cool man. This … ain't rite."

Police don’t know if both suspects opened fire, and they wouldn’t say what type of weapon was used.
