Will Ashton Kutcher's new TV stardom help Africa?

Kutcher, as the world now knows, will take over the role played by Charlie Sheen in the hit television comedy "Two and a half men."

What does that have to do with Africa, you ask?

Well, Kutcher donates funds to send mosquito nets to Africa. Kutcher donated $100,000 to Malaria No More in 2009 when he challenged CNN's Anderson Cooper in a race to see who could first get 1 million followers on Twitter.

So here is a new challenge to Kutcher: What will you do to help Africa now?

We suggest that mosquito nets are passe. If you want to really do something to eradicate malaria in Africa, Ashton, support the campaign to allow the spraying of DDT solutions on the walls of homes.
