Slow output for the I in Bricyard today, as your loyal correspondent was sweating it out with no electricity — and no backup — until late afternoon.  Unfortunately, I can't blame BSES Delhi this time, or India's much-criticized power shortage.  Unless you count a failure of the online payment system.

Still, never fear my friends: the A/C is cranking, the booster pump ready to replenish our rooftop water tank, and the beer is in the freezer.

By 7 p.m. IST I should be wholly back to the 21st century.
