Trayvon Martin Case: Hoodie gun range targets sold online (VIDEO)
The target is was being sold on online retail sites with the intention of profiting off Trayvon Martin’s death.
An unidentified man is selling gun range targets made to resemble Trayvon Martin online.
The gun targets feature a hoodie with Skittles noticeably falling from the pocket, while one hand is holding an iced tea.
Trayvon Martin, was a 17-year-old who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida. Martin had just left his father's home and walked to an area convenience store where he purchased a bag of Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea. Zimmerman has since been arrested and is awaiting trial on murder charges.
"My main motivation was to make money off the controversy," the unidenified seller said in an email exchange with WKMG Local 6's reporter Mike DeForest.
According to WKMG Local 6, "In an advertisement for the targets that had been posted on a popular firearms auction website, the sellers stated they 'support Zimmerman and believe he is innocent and that he shot a thug.'"

Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara said in a statement, "This is the highest level of disgust and the lowest level of civility. It's this type of hatred — that's what this is, it's hate-mongering — that's going to make it more difficult to try this case."
