Teacher had group sex with four students while another filmed it, video shown in court

The court heard how mother-of-three Brittni Colleps, 28, lured the students to her Texas home while her husband was overseas serving with the U.S. military.

The sex scandal began last year with Colleps sending text messages with the male students, exchanging about 100 text messages in one day with one boy.

The New York Daily News reported the messages got more heated and they eventually agreed to meet for sex, prosecutors charge.

"She said that she craved… that I had something that she wanted," the teen said.

The teen said on one occasion, there were four teens and the teacher. 

Fox News reported "One of the boys, as will happen with high school seniors, had his cellphone with him," said the prosecutor, Elizabeth Beach. "And decided that this would be a good thing to get a clip of."

The alleged video was played for members of the jury, and Colleps looked away during parts of the screening.

Although all five of the teens involved with Colleps were 18 years of age or older, Texas law prohibits sex between a teacher and a student, regardless of the student’s age.

Colleps has pleaded not guilty to several charges, including deviate sex and improper relationship between educator and student. She faces up to 20 years in jail if convicted.

The Star Telegraph reported the video was shown to reporters after the trial adjourned yesterday. The video occasionally panned the faces of the students as they laughed, smiled and made hand gestures for the camera.

One of the teenagers said that Colleps had remarked, "Don't put the light in my eyes" as the other student, "Jordan," began filming.

According to The New York Daily News, her husband, a military officer, has vowed to stand by his wife of 11 years. 

"I want you to know I love my wife. I have loved my wife since I laid eyes on her 11 years ago. I have always supported my wife and will continue to support her through this entire ordeal."
