According to Reuters, Boy in a Red Waistcoat and three others were taken from the E G Buehrle Collection in Zurich by three masked robbers in 2008.

The New York Times said today that the heist was said to be the largest art heist in Swiss history.

The men entered suddenly, ordering those present to lie down while they took the paintings, according to the news agency.

Citing the state prosecution service, Reuters said four men were arrested yesterday in Belgrade and Cacak, a southwestern town, and the collection’s director has confirmed the painting’s authenticity.
