Sikh temple shooting video released by police (VIDEO)

Police released dramatic video Tuesday of officers responding to the Sikh temple shooting in Wisconsin last month.
The video, taken by the dashcams of two responding Oak Creek police officers, shows the officers pulling in to the temple parking lot, the gunman shooting one of the them and then firing on a second squad car from afar.

It captures the sounds of gunfire and the intense exchange between dispatchers and police, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reported.
Gunman Wade Michael Page, 40, shot and killed six worshippers in the temple Aug. 5 and wounded four others before running outside and firing on Lt. Brian Murphy, the first officer to respond to the scene.

The footage shows Page shooting Murphy and Murphy falling to the ground. Page walks toward Murphy and fires again, hitting the officer a total of 15 times.
The second officer on scene, Sam Lenda, can be heard ordering Page to drop his weapon before shooting Page in the abdomen with a rifle, USA Today reported.
Page then turned the gun on himself.
The FBI and US attorney's office continue to investigate whether Page received any assistance before the shootings, the Journal-Sentinel reported.
