A series of new polls in swing states released today show that Mitt Romney is enjoying a post-debate bounce, the Christian Science Monitor reported. Before the debate, Romney trailed behind Obama in Ohio, Florida and Virginia. But a new set of polls conducted by The Wall Street Journal, NBC News, and Marist College show that Romney and Obama are now in a dead heat in Florida and Virginia. And in Ohio, Romney is now 6 percentage points behind Obama, whereas before the debate he was 8 points behind.
A CBS News/New York Times/Quinnipiac University poll also released today shows Romney now ahead by one point in Colorado, a reversal of Obama's one point lead last month, Bloomberg News reported.The poll showed the president continuing to lead in Wisconsin and Virginia, though Romney did close the gap slightly since the last month.

Finally, a battleground state poll released today by Suffolk University shows that Obama is leading among likely voters in Nevada by just 2 percentage points. All of these states went to Obama four years ago, the CS Monitor reported.
"Before the first presidential debate, Romney was the expected loser and overcame those low expectations to impress the voting public," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac polling institute, told Bloomberg.
