Robert Biggs, the man attacked by a mountain lion and saved by a bear (Video)

Robert Biggs, 69, tells The Huffington Post that he was attacked by ferocious mountain lion only to be saved by a bear.

According to Fox40 Sacramento, Biggs was hiking in Paradise, California when he was attacked by the puma.
“I had a rock in my right hand, and I come around and swing and hit him in the side of the head, and it made a big screeching sound. And I come back to swing again, and I come around, and just about half way there, I see this dark figure grabbing the neck of the mountain lion and tearing it down the ground behind me,” he was quoted as saying by the local TV station.

The bear quite literally saved Biggs’s hide.
Biggs suffered only minor scratches, according to The Los Angeles Times.
“I think the lion was stalking the bear’s cub and I got in the way,” Biggs told ABC. “The bear walked calmly back to her cub after, and I wrapped my arm up with a T-shirt and went gold panning before I went home.”
