A new survey of American's favorite snack foods may leave you thirsty.
On Monday, YouGov BrandIndex released its top 10 salty snacks, which found Americans favorite was Ritz crackers.
Lays potato chips, Doritos, Fritos and Orville Redenbacher's brands "rounded out the top 5," according to the survey.
The results were based on polling of about 5,000 Americans,
The full list is: 1. Ritz, 2. Lay’s, 3. Doritos, 4. Fritos, 5. Orville Redenbacher, 6. Wheat Thins, 7. Tostitos, 8. Cheetos, 9. Pringles and 10. Triscuit.
NBC's Today reported researchers the list had changed little from last year.
One interesting finding: men tended to prefer Doritos over women, while females tended to give a higher rating to Orville Redenbacher.
