Lindsay Lohan was taken to the hospital after her car was involved in a serious collision, according People Magazine, which said her injuries were not serious.
The Associated Press said the actress was involved in a crash on the coastal highway near Los Angeles, around 11:45 a.m.
Santa Monica Police Sgt. Candice Cobarrubias said officers were still investigating the crash, and said no one else was injured.
The Los Angeles Times said the crash involved Lohan's Porsche and a big-rig truck, citing officials.

Lohan has been on probation since 2007, when she was convicted of driving under the influence, said the LA Times. She was also convicted of shoplifting and is also on probation on that offense.
Lohan, 25, was sent to jail a few times over violation of the terms of her probation, but according to the LA Times she was praised for her behavior after the last few months of community service and counseling.

TMZ, which first broke the story, said the Porsche's window was shattered, the bumper was smashed and the airbag deployed. The site has pictures of her car.
After a long dry spell in her career, Lohan is set to portray legendary actress Elizabeth Taylor in the biopic "Liz and Dick" for Lifetime, according to The New York Daily News.
