Lindsay Lohan found unconscious at LA hotel, but otherwise ‘fine’

Lindsay Lohan was "fine" after Paramedics were called in when the actress was reportedly found unconscious in her room at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Marina del Rey, Los Angeles.

However, according to spokespeople cited by the entertainment media, simple exhaustion was to blame.

ZeeNews quoted Tony Imbrenda of LA County Fire Department as saying: "The County Fire Department ran on a medical rescue today…there was a patient in their 20s that was evaluated and was not transported by the fire department."

And Lohan's representative told E! News that situation wasn't quite as dramatic as made out.

"Lindsay has been working a grueling schedule for the last couple of days," Steve Honig said.

Lohan is working on a TV movie about the romance of actors Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton, titled "Liz and Dick."

"Last night she worked from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. She was exhausted and went back to her room to sleep," Honig added.

"Producers were apparently concerned and called the fire department and paramedics found her sleeping but determined that she was fine, just extremely exhausted and slightly dehydrated.

"She is on her way home now to rest and will be back on set later today."

Lohan has struggled with drug and alcohol addiction, however Honig said no drugs or alcohol were involved.

Lohan was released in March from formal probation for drug possession, drunk driving and a 2011 jewelry theft, TVNZ reported.

E! News cited the Marina del Rey sheriff's department as saying that paramedics responded a call when production crew tried and failed to rouse the actress.
