James Holmes paid prostitute $240 at brothel – but didn’t want sex

GlobalPost

A prostitute in Denver told the New York Daily News that she met James Holmes, 24, a week before his alleged shooting rampage, for sex but that he could not perform.

The woman described how she started kissing James Holmes, 24, on the neck but he stopped her.

“His body seemed a little tense at first — which really isn’t out of the ordinary."

According to the New York Daily News, Holmes told her: “I’m sorry. I can’t right now."

The report comes as Holmes prepares for his second court appearance where he will be formally charged.

ABC News reported Holmes is expected to face 12 counts of murder in the first degree and potentially hundreds of other counts including attempted murder and assault.

Another prostitute, red-headed Monica Hall, 25, also came forward, describing Holmes as "violent" and obsessed with her hair.

The woman told The Sun that he would grab her hair, sniff it and repeatedly pester her with questions like, “Are you a natural redhead?’’

She said at first he seemed like "a nice guy, shy and nervous" but the second time she met him, in August, he was "aggressive and controlling" and his eyes were wild-looking.

“He was mean, and during sex he kept gripping my hands and wrists,’’ she said. “Next morning, I discovered I had bruises. I saw two sides, like Jekyll and Hyde — sweet and later mean.’’
