Jailed Dutch killer, Joran van der Sloot, gets woman pregnant

Six months after he was sentenced for murdering a young Peruvian woman, Joran van der Sloot reportedly impregnated a female visitor.

A Dutch newspaper, De Telegraaf, said the convicted killer's lawyer, Maximo Altes, confirmed the woman was three months pregnant.

He also said Van der Sloot had confirmed the news in a telephone call from his Lima prison, ABC News said.

CBS News reported the woman, identified by the paper only as "Leidi," was said to have become pregnant during an unsupervised visit with Van der Sloot.

Van der Sloot was convicted for robbing and killing Stephany Flores in 2010. He was sentenced in January to 28 years jail.

He is also wanted in the U.S. in connection with the disappearance of teenager Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005.

Associated Press reported that he could resist extradition if he obtains Peruvian nationality.
