Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is restarting her music career.
Now that she is no longer France’s first lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy appears to have more time for her music.
The Italian-born singer-songwriter will release a new album entitled “Little French Songs” in the next few months – her first since 2008 when she married the then French President Nicolas Sarkozy, Agence France-Presse reported today. Sarkozy lost his re-election bid last year.
Her agent Bertrand de Labbey told RTL radio the album is “practically finished” and will be released by Universal in the spring.
Bruni-Sarkozy’s last album was "Comme Si De Rien N'Etait" (Simply), which was released in July 2008.
