Taipei’s first Color Run paints the town a rainbow of colors

Taipei hosted its first official Color Run on Saturday, a festival involving colored paint powder and a five-kilometer run that hoped to capitalize on the growing local interest in marathons.

Professional coaches from Nike led participants in warm-up exercises before they ran across Dajia Riverside Park with non-toxic coloring powder covering their bodies and blowing in the wind as it showered down on them at each kilometer.
