Royal Marines en route to fighting Ebola in Sierra Leone find a moment to celebrate the Corps 350th birthday

The UK's Royal Marines were founded on Oct. 28, 1664, during the reign of King Charles II. That means it's time for another birthday, and this year's is a big one: 350.

As the corps turns 350, the crew onboard the Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) Argus celebrates the anniversary by traveling to Sierra Leone, where the ship will serve as an operating base for doctors, engineers, aid workers, soldiers, and other personnel helping to fight the worst Ebola outbreak in history.

They're facing a tough mission, but they found a moment for a bit of cheer as marines stood on deck of the Argus and sang "Happy Birthday" to their 350-year-old corps.

Watch.
