Radical protesters besiege Ukrainian parliament

GlobalPost

Hundreds of Ukrainian far-right nationalists protested outside the parliament building in Kyiv on Thursday and Friday, demanding the interior minister's resignation over the death of one of their leaders.

Police on Monday killed Oleksandr Muzytchko, the regional leader of Pravyi Sektor (Right Sector), in a shootout that erupted during a raid to arrest him in the western city of Rivne.

Protesters are demanding the resignation of Interior Minister Arsen Avakov and the arrest of the commander of the "Sokol" forces behind the operation.
