As the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 continues, people around the world are still clinging to hope.
From the Philippines to Pakistan, total strangers have been leaving messages, saying prayers and holding candlelight vigils for the 239 passengers and crew on board the Boeing 777-200 aircraft, which disappeared en route to Beijing on March 8.
It's a story that has resonated deeply with many people, not just relatives and friends of those missing.
In Kuala Lumpur, where the ill-fated plane took off, religious differences were set aside as Christians, Muslims and Buddhists held special prayers together, while others flocked to the Malaysian capital's international airport to leave messages of hope on posters.
