Several thousands of people protested in Sarajevo, showing solidarity with protestors in Northern Bosnian town of Tuzla where citizens clashed with police as they tried to storm the building of the local government and confront the officials there.
Anti-government protests spreading across Bosnia escalated on Friday with protesters storming government buildings and setting them alight.
Thousands of people took to the streets for a third day of demonstrations that were sparked by the closure of factories and companies in the northern city of Tuzla, once the industrial heart of Bosnia.
More than 130 people, including dozens of police officers, have been wounded in clashes between police and protesters.
Bosnia's unemployment rate tops 44 percent and people are fed up with political bickering and corruption that has stifled economic development since the 1992-1995 war in the country.
Dozens of people were injured during violent clashes between protesters and police in Tuzla on Thursday.
Protesters also took to the streets in the capital Sarajevo as well as in the towns of Zenica, Bihac and Mostar to express their solidarity with the Tuzla demonstrators and their anger over the dire state of the country's economy.
