Boehner unloads on conservative groups opposing budget deal (VIDEO)

An animated House Speaker John Boehner lashed out at conservative groups urging Republicans to vote against the new bipartisan budget deal, accusing them of "using the American people."
“They’re using our members and they’re using the American people for their own goals. This is ridiculous," Boehner said while answering questions from reporters Wednesday.

Many of the groups came out against the deal "before they even saw it," he added.
Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., and Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., announced a framework for the budget deal Tuesday in hopes of avoiding another government shutdown due to political gridlock.
The deal calls for spending levels slightly above the cap established by automatic spending cuts known as the "sequester" through a combination of reforms, tax cuts and new, non-tax revenue.
Many rank-and-file Republicans signaled they could back the deal and predicted it would pass the House on Thursday.

The White House has also urged Congress to pass the measure.
But a wide range of influential conservative groups have already lined up to slam the deal.
Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks all signaled they would oppose it and said it would be a "key vote" on their legislative scorecards.
Such scorecards often indicate how much money lawmakers get during elections.
