Opposition activists in Syria have accused the Syrian government of launching chemical weapons attacks and killing hundreds in areas close to the capital of Damascus overnight.
The Syrian government has denied that chemical weapons were used, and accounts of the attacks early on Wednesday have not yet been independently verified.
