While the House of Representatives is expected to vote on Speaker John Boehner’s plan to raise the debt ceiling today, Senate Democrats are already saying the plan is a non-starter. All of the Senate’s Democrats and the two independents who vote with them sent a letter to Boehner saying they won’t vote for a plan that only raises the debt ceiling for six months.
