All week long we will be hearing from young people who were coming of age during 9/11, as part of a series called “Generation 9/11.”   Today we’re speaking with  Jillian Suarez, who was eight years old on September 11, 2001, and shared her story with WNYC’s Radio Rookies. Her father was an NYPD Officer, and when he left that morning for work it was the last time she would ever see of him.
