Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will visit Afghanistan today. His visit has strategists around the world scratching their heads as they try to discern his agenda.

We hear from BBC Iran correspondent Jon Leyne who asks the question: Will Iran’s high profile president and international provocateur aggravate the volatile political situation on the ground in Afghanistan? Or, as Larry Korb, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress and former assistant Secretary of Defense suggests, is it in Ahmadinejad’s best interest to assist President Obama in his quest to stamp down the Taliban and prop up Afghanistan’s nascent democracy?
