Possibly more than 100,000 Ukrainians marched through Kiev on Sunday to protest against President Viktor Yanukovich after he broke off an EU association agreement that would have opened up free trade and helped establish political ties between Ukraine and the EU.

But there's more than one thing to protest in Ukraine this weekend. Today's march comes a day after the police cracked down on mostly peaceful demonstrators who had defied a ban on protesting in the city center.
