As American and NATO forces prepare to begin their 2014 withdrawal from Afghanistan, the future stability of the country remains in question.
And after ten years in office. Afghan President Hamid Karzai will be stepping down next year. “My place in history will be judged by Afghan history by what I have done and it will be judged better after 2014 when I am no longer the president. Let’s leave it till then, and I hope it will be good,” he told Al-Jazeera.  
Saad Mohseni, director of the MOBY Group, the largest media organization in Afghanistan, hopes President Karzai’s successor will be as committed to free speech.
