The 'unknowable' Elena Kagan

There is still a lot that is unknown about President Obama's Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. The question remains as to whether her positions as solicitor general can tell us what she'd be like as a Supreme Court judge. Slate's senior legal correspondent, Dahlia Lithwick looks closer at Kagan's career, and John Barrett, professor of law at St. Johns University in New York City, attended Harvard Law School with Kagan and has been her friend for 25 years. They give us details on the nominee's background and how, so far, she seems to be a good choice for the Court.
