More than half a million people are facing famine in Gaza, according to the international global hunger monitor, IPC (Integrated Food Security Phase Classification). The UN-backed group said today that people in Gaza City and its surrounding areas are impacted the most, but that if no action is taken, famine will reach other areas of the territory.
