It showed two people on a beach, an exhausted man — weeping — being held in the arms of a Red Cross volunteer. Abdou Gnom was one of many African migrants at the time trying to reach to Europe to start a new life. That image of him is back in the news, because Abdou Gnom died unexpectedly at the age of 37.
