Interim leader of Bangladesh threatens resignation amid political turmoil

The leader of Bangladesh’s interim government, Muhammad Yunus, has reportedly threatened to resign, according to reports in the Bangladeshi press. The 84-year-old Nobel Prize-winning economist has been steering the country since an uprising toppled the regime of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina last year.
