In northern Tunisia, along the coast, farmers have been practicing a unique form of agriculture that goes back to the 17th century. It is called Ramli, where crops grow on sandy substrates in the lagoons by the sea. Because of climate change and urbanization, this unique form of agriculture is now threatened.
