Worldwide problem of obesity and undernutrition

A study drawing on 30 years of height, weight and health data from around the globe documents how obesity is a growing public health problem worldwide, while undernutrition persists in some countries. Host Carol Hills speaks with Professor Majid Ezzati of Imperial College London, the study’s lead author who says that access to nutritious foods is needed to address the remaining burden of underweight while curbing and reversing the increase in obesity.
