Bird and nature lovers around the globe completed a four-day tally in February — the 26th annual Great Backyard Bird Count. The World’s Carol Hills and Becca Rodomsky-Bish of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology tell how half a million bird watchers in nearly 200 countries helped researchers collect bird sightings around the globe.
