Cashews are a popular nut eaten all over the world, and there’s a chance the cashews you eat are grown in Ivory Coast. The West African country leads the world in cashew production. But that industry has been hit by a fall in global demand. The World’s Carol Hills spoke to Marcel Ouattara, the executive secretary of the Association of Cashew processors of Côte d’Ivoire (GIC-CI), which represents 20 companies that process the nut.
