Today Belgium is gradually lifting some restrictions on its lockdown. It could be an especially risky proposition, given that Belgium has the world’s highest coronavirus mortality rate. Steven Van Gucht is a virologist and government spokesman. He says Belgium isn’t necessarily doing a bad job in handling the pandemic. It’s just counting things differently.
