Three of Russia’s most respected newspapers ran identical banner headlines today in solidarity with Ivan Golunov. Golunov is an investigative journalist who has been under arrest since Thursday. Ivan Kolpako is the editor-in-chief of Meduza, the independent media outlet for which Golunov writes. He tells host Carol Hills that Golunov’s arrest has sparked outrage in unexpected corners of Russian society.
