Many families with very young children are in a tricky spot right now. COVID-19 vaccines still aren’t available for kids under 5 in the US. This may soon change: Moderna and Pfizer have announced they are pursuing approvals this spring. But outside the US, in places like Chile, thousands of children as young as the age of 3 have already been immunized. The World’s Elana Gordon reports on why these approaches have been different.
